Convult Pregabalin

Pregabalin (Convult) 75mg is an oral anti-epileptic medication used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, restless legs syndrome (RLS), and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It works by calming overactive nerves in the brain and reducing abnormal nerve signals.

Key Indications:

  • Partial seizures (as add-on therapy)
  • Nerve pain from diabetes, shingles, or spinal injury
  • Generalized anxiety disorder in adults
  • Fibromyalgia and RLS symptom management

Dosage:
Typical starting dose is 150mg/day, divided into 2–3 doses, and may be increased gradually to a maximum of 600mg/day, depending on the condition and patient response.

Administration:
Take orally, with or without food. Swallow capsules whole with water.

Common Side Effects:
Drowsiness, dizziness, swelling, weight gain, blurred vision, and dry mouth.

Serious Risks:
Suicidal thoughts, allergic reactions, angioedema, vision changes, or muscle pain. Use caution if pregnant, breastfeeding, or with kidney issues.

Caution:
Do not stop suddenly. May cause withdrawal symptoms. Monitor for mood changes or signs of abuse.
