Gabalion-300

Gabalion-300 contains Gabapentin 300mg, an anti-epileptic and nerve pain medication used to treat partial seizures, neuropathic pain, and sometimes restless legs syndrome (RLS). It works by stabilizing nerve activity in the brain and spinal cord.

Key Indications:

  • Adjunctive treatment for partial seizures
  • Neuropathic pain (e.g., diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia)
  • Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) (off-label in some regions)

Dosage:
Typically starts at 300mg per day, increased gradually based on response. Maintenance dose may range from 900mg to 1800mg daily, in 2 or 3 divided doses.

Administration:
Take orally with or without food. Swallow capsules whole with water.

Common Side Effects:
Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, swelling in hands or feet, and unsteadiness.

Serious Risks:
Mood changes, suicidal thoughts, allergic reactions, breathing difficulties (especially in elderly or those with lung issues).

Caution:
Do not stop abruptly—taper off under medical supervision. Use with care in patients with kidney issues or a history of substance abuse.
