Katorolsco
Katorolsco 30 mg contains Ketorolac Tromethamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for short-term relief of moderate to severe pain, often after surgery or injury.
Key Uses:
- Postoperative pain
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Short-term pain requiring opioid-level relief but without opioids
How It’s Used:
- Administered by intramuscular (IM) or intravenous (IV) injection
- Short-term use only (usually not more than 5 days)
Common Side Effects:
- Nausea
- Drowsiness or dizziness
- Headache
- Injection site pain
- Stomach upset
Serious Risks:
- Stomach bleeding or ulcers
- Kidney damage
- Increased risk of heart attack or stroke (especially with long-term use)
- Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)
Precautions:
Do not use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical supervision
Not recommended for use in patients with kidney problems, active ulcers, or bleeding disorders
Avoid in late pregnancy (may harm unborn baby)
